The NZ On Screen team are back in action, and are approaching 2021 with gusto. We are thrilled to announce our exciting partnership with NZ On Screen who will be supporting our brand new OnScreen short-film challenge for high school students.
Showquest is supported by the Ministry of Education to provide creative platforms for ākonga around Aotearoa. The Ministry of Education have supported Showquest since the launch in 2017.
We are very grateful for the support of our good friends at Rockshop. Rockshop is the biggest chain of its kind in Aotearoa with – currently - 23 stores nationwide. They’ve got epic products, amazing staff and they love supporting local rangatahi and the NZ music industry as a whole.
ZM are on board for their fourth year in 2021 and we are very grateful for their ongoing support. Each live event will feature the wonderful Georgia Burt from ZM emceeing and you can listen out to ZM in your region for Showquest info, results and competitions!
Our wearable art competition 'Toi' is run in collaboration with World of Wearable Art. The team at WoW are delighted to be giving the next generation of New Zealand wearable art designers a chance to shine and showcase their creativity.
Rockquest Promotions are the team that run the creative development platforms for kiwi ākonga that are Smokefreerockquest, Rockshop Bandquest, Smokefree Tangata Beats & Showquest. It all began in 1989 when two music teachers - Pete Rainey & Glenn Common picked up a radio station school music contest in Christchurch. Check out the history here.
